Breaking It Down
The Tigers look like they have the clear advantage in this game. Verlander has been consistently unstoppable, which is something we can't say about Zito.

Their offense has had different guys do it beginning at the bottom of the order with Omar Infante and then flipping it with Austin Jackson. Miguel Cabrera is the best hitter in baseball and picked it up late in the series against the New York Yankees.

The Giants' top slugger, Buster Posey struggled against the St. Louis Cardinals. Their top hitter was Marco Scutaro, but could he really carry the team in the World Series. Pablo Sandoval provided the pop in the lineup with two home runs and six RBI.

I give Tigers the edge in this game and in the series.
