World Series Game 3 Schedule: Time, Where to Watch and Pitching Matchup of Pivotal Game in Detroit

The 2012 World Series will now take place in Detroit as the San Francisco Giants have used home field advantage to take a 2-0 lead against the Tigers. Will Jim Leyland's crew wake up and win Game 3? We bring you the schedule and pitching matchups of this important Game 3.

Weather permitting, Game 3 will be played in Comerica Park. Last time they played in Detroit, it was Game 4 of the ALCS, but it was the second Game 4 scheduled in that serious since potential showers prevented the start of the Tigers' game against the New York Yankees.

More bad weather is headed towards Detroit sometime this week. Hopefully, we can get all of these games in and have a crowned champion as soon as possible.

Game 3 Time: First pitch is scheduled for 8:07 p.m.

Where to Watch: Tune into FOX to watch the game. They will begin coverage at 7:30 p.m. ET where you can catch the pregame ceremonies; first pitch and the national anthem presentation.

Pitching Matchup: Things are looking grim for the Tigers as the Giants will have their playoff ace on the mound Ryan Vogelsong.

So far in the playoffs Vogelsong has been lights out. His ERA is sitting at 1.42 allowing just three runs over 19 ER with opponents hitting a meek .162.

He will be opposed by the Tigers' Anibal Sanchez who has thrown 13.1 innings and allowed just two earned runs.
