Miami Dolphins Rumors: Lamar Miller, Branden Albert Injured, Rishard Matthews Fantasy Sleeper, Jarvis Landry Best Option, DeVante Parker Bust Week 2

The Miami Dolphins lost to the Jaguars this week and the team suffered some injuries to key players, including Branden Albert and Lamar Miller. Jarvis Landry had a great game for Ryan Tannehill on Sunday, but DeVante Parker has still not been able to get things going after two weeks and he may need some more time to get his rhythm back after having surgery.

The Jaguars pulled the upset with a strong game on defense and the team won the battle of the Florida teams on Sunday in Week 2. The Dolphins los Albert in the game to a hamstring issue, according to the Miami Herald. Albert suffered a serious knee injury last season after tearing his ACL and MCL and he was able to play in Week 1, but in Week 2 he had to leave with a hamstring injury and did not play in the second half.

The Dolphins used Jason Fox in place of Albert in the game after he left and that put the team in a tough position for the second half. The Dolphins did not appear to have a rhythm on the line and the team took on numerous penalties and they also gave up sacks on Tannehill. The running game was not very effective and it became even less so once Miller went out with an injury. According to the Herald, Miller left the game with an ankle injury and at the time he had just 14 yards on 10 carries.

Miller said after the game that he would be "alright" for next week, but until the injury report comes out, it's not certain if he will play or not. The Dolphins got rid of LaMichael James and that leaves Damien Williams and Raheem Mostert as the main backups for Miller for now. Miller has been off to a slow start this season with just 67 yards in two games and the Dolphins really need him to shape up if they want a chance at bouncing back from this loss.

The Patriots took down the Bills and have started 2-0 this season and they remain the favorites in the AFC East. The Dolphins came into the season with the thought that they could contend for the division title, but as things stand now, they have a lot of work to do. Landry had a strong game last week to start the season and against the Jaguars he added another strong performance.

Landry had eight catches for 110 yards and he continues to be the top fantasy option for the Dolphins and the best receiver for Tannehill. Parker has so far been a fantasy bust, as he had one catch for three yards against the Jaguars. Parker is still catching up to things after missing time this offseason with foot surgery.
