The No. 5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish will face the No. 8 Oklahoma St. Sooners at 8 p.m. ET Saturday evening. 

This matchup will feature one of the best defenses versus one of the top offenses in college football.

Notre Dame comes into this match undefeated and ranked 2nd in the FBS allowing just 9.4 points on average per game. Meanwhile, Oklahoma St. takes their 5th ranked offense that is putting up, on average, 44.7 points a game. 

The Sooners' defense is not too bad either giving up just 15.3 points a game good for 12th in the nation. The Fighting Irish average around 26 points a game as they possess a more balanced offense that depends on the defense to prevent teams from scoring. 

The Irish have only scored more than 20 points twice in their first seven games, meanwhile, Oklahoma St. has scored more than 20 points in all their matchups and scored 40 points in four of their six games this season.

The Sooners will be powered by their quarterback Landry Jones who has completed 134 passes for 1,653 yards and 12 touchdowns in six games. Everett Golson, Notre Dame's quarterback, has completed 79 passes for 968 yards and 4 touchdowns.
