The Chicago Bears will look to extend their lead in the NFC North Sunday when they set to face the Carolina Panthers at 1:00 p.m. ET.

The Chicago Bears (5-1) will enter Sunday's game vs. the Carolina Panthers (1-5) with a comfortable lead in the NFC North.

Quarterback Jay Cutler has helped the Bears put up big offensive numbers despite a weak offensive line in front of him. Though he was suffering from bruised ribs following their game against the Detroit Lions, he appears to be ready to play on Sunday.

Chicago are entering the game coming off four straight wins, scoring 111 points in those games.

Carolina, in the meantime, are looking at what seems to be shaping out to be a disappointing season after having such high hopes.

The team is riding on a four game losing streak and the only win this season came against a struggling New Orleans Saints team.

The team fired their general manager over the week, and are generally looking to pull their season out of turmoil. In their three most recent losses, quarterback Cam Newton has led the team in rushing despite the presence of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart.
