NFL Fantasy Football Week 3 Preview: Atlanta Falcons at Dallas Cowboys, Jason Witten, Brandon Weeden, Julio Jones, Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams, Matt Ryan,

Atlanta Falcons

Julio Jones (Wide Receiver): Julio Jones will be a huge test for this Dallas defense. The defense has been incredible over the last two games and with Sean Lee returning to pro bowl form the Falcons offensive line could be hit hard. If Matt Ryan gets pressure on him consistently then he will have a tough time throwing to Jones. Plus he has been limited in practice due to hamstring injury and the Cowboys have given up the 3rd fewest points to wide receivers. Jones is a WR1 always.

Matt Ryan (Quarterback): Ryan could have a tough day behind a weak offensive line. Regardless of the Cowboys offensive struggles the defense will be amp to carry the load. Without Tevin Coleman creating holes and using his physicality to gain first downs the running game should suffer. Ryan will need to be incredibly accurate all day and have a clean pocket if he wants to have a good fantasy day. He is a QB1 in deeper leagues and a QB2 in 10 team leagues.

Devonta Freeman (Running Back): Freeman will get the bulk of the carries this weekend and that means he has his biggest shot at having a great statistical day however this Dallas defensive line is all about pressure. The Falcons rushing attack is pretty similar to that of the Giants only with less players, so expect similar results. Freeman is a low ceiling flex play in week 3.

Dallas Cowboys

Terrance Williams (Wide Receiver): Williams will receive the bulk of the throws to wide receivers. He is bigger than Cole Beasley and can catch the ball anywhere on the field. There should not be a lot of passing on the Dallas side of the football however Williams should see a high percentage of targets regardless. He is a WR2 for week 3.

Jason Witten (Tight End): Witten is banged up with two sprained ankles and a sprained knee, and he is practicing in full. Witten is a beast and the remaining heartbeat of this Cowboys team besides their defense, he should carry the load for the offense through the air. He is a TE1 for week 3.

Joseph Randle (Running Back): Randle will get his opportunity to shine as he faces a weak run defense and the Dallas passing attack has been neutralized. This means Randle should not only get the bulk of the carries but more than he does usually. He will be an RB1 against this defense.
