NFL Fantasy Football Recap Week 3: Philadelphia Eagles at New York Jets, Brandon Marshall, Chris Ivory, Bilal Powell, Sam Bradford, Chip Kelly, Jordan Matthews

Philadelphia Eagles

Sam Bradford (Quarterback): Bradford possibly played his best game of the season going 14 of 28 for 118 yards and a touchdown. Bradford still looked shaky and inaccurate on several throws however he avoided the big mistakes that have cost him games earlier this season. Bradford will need to have a couple of more performances like this before he becomes a realistic fantasy option.

Ryan Matthews/Darren Sproles (Running Backs): Matthews led the way on the ground but Sproles got the start. Matthews finished the game with 25 carries for 108 yards and caught 2 out of 4 targets for 20 yards and a touchdown. Without Murray, Matthews dominated running all over what some people called the best defense in the NFL. Sproles had a productive day as well gaining 17 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Sproles also caught 4 out of 6 targets for 19 yards and a touchdown, and added a punt return touchdown on special teams. With Murray slated to come back soon Sproles and Matthews roles will change and their fantasy value remains a mystery.

Jordan Matthews (Wide Receiver): Matthews was still the Eagles number 1 wide receiver however he had an average day. He caught 6 out of 8 targets for only 49 yards.

New York Jets

Brandon Marshall (Wide Receiver): Marshall had a stellar day that was marred by one of the worst plays in NFL history. He attempted a backward lateral pass as he headed to the ground which left Jets fans mouth's wide open. Marshall however had a great fantasy day finishing the game catching 10 out of 13 targets for 109 yards and a touchdown. It is looking like Marshall will be a true WR1 every week.

Chris Ivory/ Bilal Powell (Running Backs): Ivory was a scratch even though he said he could play before and after the game. Powell filled in for Ivory racking up 44 yards through the air catching 7 out of 8 receptions. Powell also had 10 carries and ran for 31 yards.
