Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers:
This matchup should provide a low scoring game which is always great for defenses. Jameis Winston has looked shaky in his handful of starts for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now he will face a high pressure Panthers unit who may get Luke Kuechly back in time to really put a hurting on this Buccaneers defense. Monitor his status as the week moves forward as well as the status of Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans. If Evans cannot play because of a re-injured hamstring then the Panthers may have the best matchup of the weekend.
Buffalo Bills (at home) VS New York Giants:
The Bills will look to quiet Odell Beckham and the New York Giants after blasting the Miami Dolphins into submission. This one should not even be close; the Giants offensive line is horrendous and will get pressured all day by the best defensive line in football. Even with the threat of Odell Beckham scoring a touchdown I would still roll with the Bills as the second best defense to start this week.
Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers:
The Packers may not have the best defense in the NFL but they can certainly put up points when they need too. The 49ers are awful and Kaepernick threw 4 picks against the Cardinals. The Cardinals defense is on another level right now but it is pretty reasonable to assume the Packers get to takeaways, one possibly for a touchdown.
Arizona Cardinals (at home) vs St. Louis Rams:
The best defense at home versus the worst offense in the NFL .....Enough said. Cardinals should blast the Rams.
