NY Jets Rumors: Eric Decker Out Week 4? Chris Ivory Fantasy Start Option Over Bilal Powell For Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dion Bailey Claimed

The NY Jets were without Eric Decker last week in the loss to the Eagles and the team is hoping to have him back for Week 4 against the Dolphins. Chris Ivory should be okay to go after not playing last week and this comes as New York has worked out free agent Terrelle Pryor and has claimed Dion Bailey off waivers.

Decker is dealing with a knee injury and head coach Todd Bowles said that the team will evaluate the wideout in practice this week. According to NJ.com, Decker avoided a serious injury to his knee and is dealing with a sprain that he suffered back in Week 2. Decker is considered "day-to-day" and if he plays on Sunday against the Dolphins he could be limited, giving Brandon Marshall and Quincy Enunwa more chances on offense.

The initial reports on Decker after his injury were that he would likely miss one week. UPDATE: the Jets had practice and Decker did not participate, while Chris Ivory was limited and so was Darrelle Revis. Also Update: Decker was limited in practice on Thursday.

Decker comes in with 10 catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns this season and last year he missed one game and finished with 74 catches for 962 yards. The Jets are dealing with some other injuries as well, with Chris Ivory, Willie Colon, Darrelle Revis and Jeff Cumberland all banged up. Revis was able to play through a hamstring issue and the cornerback said that he was "fine" after the game and could see some limited practice this week leading into the Dolphins game. Ivory said he could have played last week and that he expects to be back in the lineup for Week 4, making him a better start option than Bilal Powell for Ryan Fitzpatrick in fantasy football.

According to Pro Football Talk, Willie Colon could miss "at least a week" with a knee injury and that is a tough loss for the Jets even for a week. NJ.com reports that Brian Winters will start for the Jets against the Dolphins in London. Ivory comes in after dealing with a quad issue and while he was active for the game against the Eagles, he did not play and likely will get more rest and evaluation this week. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on the injury report, but if Ivory is active again, expect him to play this time.

Terrelle Pryor worked out for the team last week, according to Pro Football Talk, and he is also working out for the Seahawks as a wide receiver. The Jets could look at adding Pryor if Decker's injury ends up more serious than expected. According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, Pryor had a strong workout for the Jets and showed some good speed, running "the 40 in 4.2 and 4.3 seconds." The Jets could look at Pryor as a depth receiver option and a special teams option.

The Jets have also claimed Dion Bailey off waivers, as Fox Sports reports that the team added the Seahawks safety following his release. Bailey started for the Seahawks in place of Kam Chancellor, but now that Chancellor has returned, the Seahawks opted to make a move. Bailey was up and down with the Seahawks and gave up the play at the end of the Rams game to allow St. Louis to tie the score. Bailey gives the Jets solid depth with Calvin Pryor and Marcus Gilchrist.
