The NBA season starts today as the Boston Celtics visit Eastern Conference rival Miami Heat for their first games of 2012-2013 in opening night for both teams.

The Celtics feel that the Heat owe them and worse of all for them, they feel that one of their own betrayed them as Ray Allen left to the Heat during the offseason.

Bad ankles and all, the Miami Heat feel that Allen will provide a punch beyond the arc.

Along with Allen, though not producing feelings as bitter as Ray going to Miami, the Heat signed another sharp shooter, Rashard Lewis who is also a product of the Seattle Super Sonics, way back when.

The best player in the world, LeBron James and Dwayne Wade will get back to work as they will try to get defend their NBA title. They will seek their third NBA Finals appearance this season.

Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are still in Boston and they really want to get back at the Heat for eliminating them in the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals in seven games.

Rondo and Garnett led the team, while Pierce struggled, but hit pivotal shots.

Rondo is probably the best point guard in the league right now and is only getting better.
