Celtics vs. Heat Results: Miami Get Win and Rings in Season Opener

The Miami Heat received their championship rings on Tuesday night as they set off the season opener and they defeated the Boston Celtics 120-107.

LeBron James finished the night with a double-double scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He also had three assists and two steals in the game.

However, the Heat had to rely on their other stars as James left the game with leg cramps.

Chris Bosh went on a tear at the end of the game as the Celtics shrunk the Heat lead to just four points in the fourth quarter.

Bosh finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and had a game-high three blocks.

Though the Celtics lost and are disappointed with their start, there is great news for the Celtics as they look to keep up with the championship favorite, Miami Heat, in 2012-2013.

Mainly coming as a surprise from the bench was Leandro Barbosa who was picked up not too long before the beginning of the season.

He finished with 16 points and shot 6/8 from the floor.

Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce dropped 20 and 23 points respectively. Rondo had 13 assists.

It was Ray Allen's first regular season game with the Heat and he finished the game with 19 points and got a cold shoulder from former teammate Kevin Garnett before coming into the game and acknowledging former coaches on the Celtics' bench.

The Heat will next face the New York Knicks on November 2. The Celtics will host the Milwaukee Bucks also on November 2.
