NFL Week 4 Fantasy Preview: Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins, DeMarco Murray, Sam Bradford, Kirk Cousins, RGIII, Darren Sproles, Jordan Matthews

Philadelphia Eagles

DeMarco Murray/Ryan Mathews/Darren Sproles (Running Backs): Murray has been limited in practice and may end up sitting out for week 4 as well. As a fantasy owner it will be difficult to gauge his value as he has had a couple of bad performances and injuries but it is wise to sell high on the starting Eagles running back. Mathews on the other hand was the overlooked player who the NFL world assumed was just insurance in case of a Murray injury. He has had a very solid start to the season and already has a 100 yard game under his belt. Sproles is a great complimentary back who has ended up being one of the main receiving threats this team has.  The Eagles will look to rely heavily on Mathews and Sproles again against the Redskins.

Jordan Matthews (Wide Receiver): Matthews has caught a case of the drops this season and had a less than stellar week 3 against the Jets. He was being covered by Darrelle Revis however Matthews preferred to stay in the slot for that game so he could see some easier coverage and he still only managed 49 yards. Matthews has a chance to have a breakout game against a weak Washington secondary.

Washington Redskins

Alfred Morris/ Matt Jones (Running Backs): Matt Jones is looking like he will be the lead dog in this running game however a bad week 3 performance could change that notion. Jones has a fumbling problem and pretty much cost the Redskins the game when he fumbled out of the back of the end zone. Jones had 11 carries and Jay Gruden says the Redskins will not stop utilizing the young running back because of ball security issues. Gruden also said that Alfred Morris is the "lead dog" for this running attack, notably Morris only had 6 carries in the game against the Giants. Morris is the more experienced rusher but it is very hard to trust either running back in this matchup.

Jordan Reed (Tight End): Reed had a solid outing in week 3 exposing the Giants weakness in handling tight ends. Reed should be leaned on similarly in this week 4 matchup. If DeSean Jackson cannot play the Redskins passing offense will target Reed heavily hoping to expose matchup problems now that Kiko Alonso is out for a large portion of the season. Reed is a low ceiling TE1 for this matchup.

Pierre Garcon (Wide Receiver): Garcon had a tough time dealing with Kirk Cousins erratic passing and is lucky to catch as many balls as he did. Garcon is a great complimentary piece but it is not yet known if he can be the main guy in this offense. Cousins is just too much of a question mark, and the Redskins are looking like the worst team in the division (again). Garcon is a sit for his matchup with the Eagles.
