NFL Week 4 Fantasy Preview: Detroit Lions at Seattle Seahawks, Russell Wilson, Golden Tate, Calvin Johnson, Ameer Abdullah, Matthew Stafford, Jimmy Graham

Detroit Lions

Calvin Johnson/Golden Tate (Wide Receiver): These Lions wide receivers will have a tough time dealing with a revamped Seattle secondary. Calvin Johnson is not looking as young as he used to be and he has trouble gaining separation from defenders. Tate has been a non-factor as Johnson has taken most of his targets. Tate if anyone should see more targets in this matchup as Johnson will be covered by Richard Sherman. You have to assume that the Seahawks have been game planning all week for Megatron.

Ameer Abdullah/Joique Bell (Running Back): Abdullah will find more success than Bell this week but by how much is a questionable margin. Abdullah is the best back in Detroit yet the coaching staff finds it necessary to keep giving Joique Bell meaningful carries when he is clearly not the starter. Abdullah should be a big factor in the screen game and will be used to slow the pace of this game and the defense down. Abdullah is the clear start over Bell.

Eric Ebron (Tight End): Ebron will struggle to get open this week as he is likely to be guarded by Earl Thomas and/or Kam Chancellor. Ebron has found fantasy value trying to be the Jimmy Graham of this offense and it has paid off in certain moments, but it won't against the Seahawks.

 Seattle Seahawks

Russell Wilson (Quarterback): Russell Wilson should have a relatively easy time picking apart the ineffective Lions defense. Wilson has for the most part been an average fantasy quarterback only surpassing 20 points one time so this matchup is not that intimidating. Wilson should throw the ball more if Marshawn Lynch cannot play due to injury.

Marshawn Lynch/ Thomas Rawls (Running Backs):
Lynch may sit this game out if his hamstring has not healed enough for him to play this week. Running back Thomas Rawls ended up with over 100 yards after Lynch exited their game in week 3 and solid performance has him slated as the primary backup for Lynch. Lynch should know by Friday if he can play in Monday's game however the odds are its pretty unlikely. It is puzzling that Lynch has yet to rack up a huge fantasy total yet Rawls almost topped Lynch in his first game. Lynch owners must add Rawls.

Jimmy Graham (Tight End): Graham has been making an impact as a playmaker as the Seattle run game has struggled consistently. Graham should be heavily utilized again if Lynch is out which should make for an interesting offensive game plan. Graham is a TE1 this week.
