Seattle Seahawks Rumors: Thomas Rawls Fantasy Starter If Marshawn Lynch Out Week 4? Tyler Lockett Sleeper For Russell Wilson

The Seattle Seahawks could be without Marshawn Lynch in Week 4 and Thomas Rawls could be the start option for fantasy football owners after the running back suffered an injury on Sunday. Lynch is a game time decision and if he out or limited, Rawls is a good option, while Tyler Lockett is a sleeper pick for Russell Wilson along with Doug Baldwin.

Lynch had an MRI earlier in the week and Pete Carroll said to the media in his press conference that Lynch is "50-50" to play against the Lions. The Seahawks have Monday night football this week and that allows the team to get an extra day of rest. According to ESPN, Lynch has not been practicing and while the hamstring injury is not considered serious, it could be enough to keep Lynch from suiting up this weekend.

Lynch has just 128 yards in three games and has not scored a TD yet and Rawls has stepped up to take advantage. Lynch suffered the injurt last week and Rawls came in to rush for 104 yards on 16 carries against the Bears on Sunday. Even if Lynch plays, expect Rawls to get some carries and he could be the lead back if Lynch is not 100 percent. Fred Jackson is just a complimentary option at this point and for fantasy owners, Rawls is the better handcuff option.

The Seahawks come into the game after a dominating win over the Bears and Lynch had to leave that game after suffering a hamstring injury and now could be out. After the game head coach Pete Carroll said the injury was "nothing to be alarmed about," but clearly things have not gotten much better through the week. According to ESPN.com, the Seahawks may not know about Lynch and his status until the weekend and hamstring injuries can be lingering.

Lynch has only missed one game in his time with the Seahawks and this could end up as the second one. Rawls had the majority of the offensive snaps last week with 51 percent, according to ESPN. Jackson comes in after putting up 13 yards rushing last week and right now he is a fantasy non-factor. Rawls has 109 total yards on the ground this season and is averaging over six yards per carry and he is a high upside fantasy option until Lynch is cleared.

Tyler Lockett is a solid sleeper option, as the Seahawks have been using him on offense and he has added value as a special teams player. Lockett had a 105 yard touchdown return on a kickoff last week and he has already returned a punt for a TD this season as well. Lockett has six catches for 51 yards in three games and while he may not be a PPR machine, he is worth a look in deeper leagues. The Seahawks reportedly worked out Terrelle Pryor as a WR last week and he could be a potential free agent addition.
