Indianapolis Colts Rumors: Andrew Luck Starts Week 6 After Injury? Andre Johnson Fantasy Waiver Option, Dwayne Allen Returns

Andrew Luck was able to practice in full for the Indianapolis Colts and that puts him on track to play in Week 6 against the New England Patriots after missing the last two games with a shoulder injury. Andre Johnson had a breakout game last week and he is a solid fantasy football free agent option, while Dwayne Allen is back after dealing with an injury.

The Colts have been able to get by without Luck for the past two weeks and the team is now hoping that he can return for the spotlight game against the Patriots. New England is traveling to Indy for the game and the team is undefeated this season. This is the first chance the teams have to meet since the controversy in the AFC title game and that puts even more focus on the matchup for Luck. According to the Indianapolis Star, Luck was able to practice "without limitations" and Luck said that it was a "step in the right direction" after missing last week.

According to NFL.com, there was no media access for the practice for the Colts, but that head coach Chick Pagano said that Luck "looked good" in the session. Luck has not played over the past two weeks and his status will become clearer when the injury report for this week comes out. Luck looks like he is on track to play against the Patriots and it comes after Matt Hasselbeck stepped in and led the Colts to a win against the Texans on Thursday night.

Luck previously was not participating or limited in practice heading into the past two games and this is a good sign that he will be able to at least attempt to play on Sunday night. Luck has been dealing with a right shoulder injury and he has still not been able to beat the Patriots in his short career, going 0-4 during that time. Luck has been off to a slow start this season even without the injury, as he has five touchdowns and seven interceptions in three games played.

Last season Luck set career highs with 4761 yards and 40 touchdowns while completing 61 percent of his passes. Hasselbeck stepped in and played well over the past two games, going 48-of-76 for 495 yards and three touchdowns in that time. The Colts offense finally got a boost from Andre Johnson, who signed as a free agent this offseason but had not done much in the first four games of the year. Johnson had six catches on seven targets for 77 yards in Week 5 and he also had two touchdowns in the game. Moving forward Johnson could be a solid fantasy option for owners.

Dwayne Allen was able to return to the lineup for the Colts in Week 5 after dealing with an injury and while he only had one catch, he is worth putting back into action as each week goes by. Allen is a favorite target for Luck and after dealing with an injury he could be a solid TE option to start moving forward.
