Buffalo Bills Rumors: Sammy Watkins Slams Percy Harvin, Charles Clay Rotation, Tyrod Taylor, LeSean McCoy Active Week 6 as Dan Herron Replaces Karlos Williams

For a wide receiver that has barely been on the field this season, Sammy Watkins certainly has a lot to say. The wide receiver has spent most of this season injured. He missed all of the preseason with a glute injury and has been out for the past few weeks with calf and hamstring issues. However, Watkins is making it clear that he is not getting enough targets on the field and the Bills are making him look bad.

Watkins is making headlines and not for the right reasons. The receiver does have one catchless game to his name this year, but has not made it on to the field to really do much else. Now he is telling the Buffalo News that he is not happy with his role in the offense.

"I need the ball at least 10 times -- I need 10 targets -- and l'll be fine with however many yards I get," Watkins said, via the Buffalo News. "And that's what I addressed in talking with my agent. We reached out to a couple people and tried to pull some string like, 'Hey, I need my targets. You came up to draft me and I'm not getting targets -- that's a problem. You're making me look bad, and you're making yourself look bad. Why not make both of us look good?"

Watkins has not been on the field since Sept. 27. He told the media that he wants to play on Sunday even if it means getting injured again, but that is not his decision. According to ESPN, when on the field, Watkins got targeted 10 times by quarterback Tyrod Taylor. That put him tied with Percy Harvin and Charles Clay. According to Watkins, that is not enough.

"For a guy you go up in the draft to take as your No. 1 receiver, you would love those 15 targets that Julio [Jones] gets, those 20 targets that Odell [Beckham Jr.] gets," Watkins said. "Of course I'd have 100 yards every game and a TD, if I'm getting 20 targets."

Ryan has not made a call as to whether or not Watkins will play on Sunday along with Tyrod Taylor who is also banged up. Having EJ Manuel on the field might be a good thing for the receiver. Last year, Watkins finished with 65 catches on the season with Manuel and Kyle Orton throwing the ball. HE would like to repeat that success. The issue for Watkins is that Ryan has no plans on forcing him the ball with Harvin, Robert Woods and Clay on the field. Add in LeSean McCoy and Watkins is not the only star player on the team.

The Bills have major injury issues at the moment. Week 6 may or may not see the return of Watkins along with Taylor who has not yet been named the starter, but some reports say he will play. Karlos Williams has not returned to the practice field which makes Dan Herron the main running back with Boobie Dixon. LeSean McCoy did return to the field for practice and could be back for Week 6.
