With the football schedule heading into the middle of October, the gossip and rumours are starting to heat up and some news includes updates on Pep Guardiola and his future at Bayern Munich, as well as Chelsea star Eden Hazard being linked to Real Madrid. David Moyes could be a target to move to Aston Villa, although the manager said that he is happy at Real Sociedad.
Guardiola has long been linked to moves to the Premier League and he added a bit of fire to that at his latest press conference ahead of the Champions League match against Arsenal. According to the Mirror, Guardiola said it's "boring" to remain at one club for too long and with Guardiola's contract coming up next year, he will continue to be a target for teams.
Guardiola was talking about the longevity of Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and he later was asked about possibly extending his time at Bayern. Bayern has been one of the best teams in the world over the past few years and the team comes in with 12 straight wins into the match against Arsenal. Guardiola did not entertain questions about a move and while his contract is up, there is always a chance the club tries to extend him before the season is over.
Chelsea has been in the middle of a tough season and while Jose Mourinho said he is confident the team can turn things around, they have a lot of ground to make up on the EPL table. Eden Hazard was on the bench for the bench for 2-0 win over Aston Villa this past weekend and that has made some wonder what his future is in Chelsea. According to the Daily Star, Hazard "liked" an internet post regarding his move to Real Madrid for 2016 and while that doesn't mean Hazard will be on his way out, he could catch some scorn from his manager.
David Moyes, who had a tough run with Manchester United, could be a target for Aston Villa, according to the Daily Star. Moyes has had a tough start to the season with one win in eight league matches and he could be an option if Aston Villa makes a move on Tim Sherwood. the report says that Moyes "admits he has had contact" with other clubs, but that "my intention is to stay here at La Real, I'm not thinking about anything else."
