NBA TV Schedule 2015: NY Knicks, Heat, Spurs, LA Lakers, Boston Celtics Start Season With Rockets, Clippers, Mavericks, Nets Wednesday

The NBA season is about to start and 2015 opening night is on Tuesday, October 27 with three games, including the Cleveland Cavaliers taking on the Chicago Bulls. The Golden State Warriors will host the New Orleans Pelicans and that game will be on TV from TNT, while the Detroit Pistons will face off against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Cavaliers are visiting the Bulls at the United Center and that will be the first major game of the season and will have coverage on TNT. LeBron James and the Cavs face off against Chicago and the Bulls could be without Derrick Rose after the point guard suffered a facial injury in training camp. The game will be on at 8 pm ET and has national coverage and comes ahead of the Warriors, which will be the second game of the TNT doubleheader.

The Atlanta Hawks will host the Detroit Pistons in their first game of the season and that will be at 8 pm ET from the Phillips Center. The Golden State Warriors will start their championship defense at home at ORACLE Arena against the New Orleans Pelicans and Anthony Davis. The game starts at 10:30 pm ET and has reigning MVP Stephen Curry looking to start off his season strong.

After opening night, the Wednesday schedule has the rest of the league in action and things will start off with the Washington Wizards and Orlando Magic at 7 pm ET. The Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics will start the season with a matchup and that comes at 7:30 pm ET from TD Garden. The Bulls are playing back to back games to open the season and they will visit the Brooklyn Nets at 7:30 pm ET after playing the Cavaliers.

The New York Knicks are opening the season on the road and they will play against the Milwaukee Bucks at 8 pm ET. The San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder are playing one of the best matchups in the league on Wednesday and that will be on ESPN starting at 8 pm ET. The Thunder are getting Kevin Durant back healthy and the Spurs will debut with new free agent signing LaMarcus Aldridge.

The Cavaliers are also playing back to back after opening against the Bills and they will visit the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers will be part of a doubleheader on ESPN and that game will be at 10:30 pm ET from the Staples Center. The game has the top two picks in the draft facing off in Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell.

The Wednesday schedule has a number of big games, including the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder playing on ESPN. The New Orleans Pelicans play against the Portland Trail Blazers, while the Clippers have the Kings in Sacramento and that is at 10 pm ET. The Knicks and Bucks play, while the Denver Nuggets are visiting the Houston Rockets at 8 pm ET. The Cavaliers play against the Grizzlies, while the Indiana Pacers take on the Toronto Raptors. Miami plays the Hornets, while the Pistons take on the Jazz.
