Fantasy Football Week 7 Recap: Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions, Teddy Bridgewater, Adrian Peterson, Mike Wallace, Matthew Stafford, Ameer Abdullah

Minnesota Vikings

Teddy Bridgewater (Quarterback):  Bridgewater was sacked 4 times in this game however did not have a turnover. Bridgewater completed 25 of 35 passes for 316 yards and 2 touchdowns. This was one of Bridgewater's best performances of the season.

Adrian Peterson (Running Back): Peterson ran for 98 yards on 19 attempts against the Lions. Peterson also caught all 3 of his targets for 12 yards however he failed to get into the end zone.

Stefon Diggs/Mike Wallace (Wide Receivers): Diggs caught 6 out of his 9 targets for 108 yards and a touchdown making him one of the top fantasy waiver pickups in recent memory. Diggs also added 1 rush for 9 yards however with all of the targets going to Diggs someone had to be in the dog house. That was Mike Wallace who only saw 5 targets and caught 4 of them for 36 yards.

Detroit Lions

Matthew Stafford (Quarterback): Stafford was sacked 7 times but managed to avoid an interception all day long. Stafford completed 18 of 26 pass attempts for 256 yards and 2 touchdowns. Stafford is not a recommended start until he becomes more consistent.

Ameer Abdullah/Theo Riddick/ Joique Bell (Running Backs): Abdullah, Riddick, and Bell have all struggled all season and that just continued in week 7. Abdullah had the most carries with 8 attempts which gained 43 yards. Riddick had 3 attempts for 8 yards and caught 3 out of 4 targets for 40 yards. While Bell had 3 attempts which netted 21 yards, he also caught both of his targets for 14 yards. This is still a running back situation that is to be avoided.

Eric Ebron (Tight End): Ebron broke out and has become a force in the tight end fantasy world. Ebron caught all 5 of his targets for 89 yards and a touchdown.

Calvin Johnson (Wide Receiver): Johnson broke open several times giving the Vikings defense fits. Johnson caught 5 out of his 7 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown giving him another solid fantasy performance on the year.
