The defending champs Miami Heat look to keep their winning streak alive when they host the visiting Brooklyn Nets to South Beach Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The Nets will enter South Beach with hopes to return to winning form after being dealt a loss to the short-handed Minnesota Timberwolves team despite a 22-point second half lead.
Forward Gerald Wallace will be out as he nurses a sprained left ankle. Nets coach Avery Johnson listed Wallace as day-to-day, and that he will be evaluated again before the Nets visit the Orlando Magic Friday.
Wallace was injured in the season opener against the Toronto Raptors and did not play in the Nets' loss to the Timberwolves on Monday.
The Heat, in the meantime, are the league's highest scoring team through four games averaging 121 points per game, with reigning MVP LeBron James leading the way with 23 points to go along with 9.3 rebounds and 5 assists per game.
