Indianapolis Colts Rumors: Chuck Pagano Fired This Season? Andrew Luck Wants Rebound, Donte Moncrief, TY Hilton Fantasy Start Options Week 8

The Indianapolis Colts are coming into the Week 8 game after a tough loss to the Saints and Chuck Pagano has been on the hot seat and could be fired this season without improvement. Andrew Luck has been struggling with injuries and inconsistent play and he needs to get things going for Donte Moncrief, TY Hilton and Frank Gore against the Carolina Panthers.

Andrew Luck said that he is "frustrated" with how he has played and that he is looking to rebound moving forward in the second half of the season. According to ESPN.com, Luck has been dealing with a shoulder injury and he may still be dealing with some pain from that. Luck is not hitting his deep throws like he did last year and he has 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions and is only completing 56 percent of his passes.

Last season Luck had a great year with 4761 yards and 40 touchdowns and he has been turning the ball over too much this season. Luck missed two games and the Colts won those games, but he needs to start playing better and now the team has a tough test with the Panthers, who are undefeated. Chuck Pagano is on the hot seat and the NFL media has all reported that there is a chance he could be fired this year if the team doesn't improve.

According to the Indianapolis Star, Colts owner Jim Irsay and General Manager Ryan Grigson had a "heated conversation" after the loss to the Saints and that could show some sign of what the team is dealing with. Irsay may want to fire Pagano and Grigson by the end of the season and it remains to be seen how things will play out.

TY Hilton and Donte Moncrief are the best fantasy options for the Colts this week and they are options up against a tough Panthers secondary. Josh Norman may be on Hilton and that could open things up for Moncrief and fantasy owners could use him as an option.

The Colts are also dealing with some other injuries, as Pro Football Talk reports that Phillip Dorsett had surgery on his leg after suffering an injury last week. Dorsett will be out for at least a month and could miss six weeks and that means he could be back for the end of the season. Dorsett reportedly had a clean break and that will help with recovery. The rookie has not done much this season and he could help make an impact on the back end.
