The Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers are playing live on the NBA schedule and the game is on TV from TNT as part of a doubleheader. The game is streaming live on TNT Overtime and Chris Paul and Blake Griffin will try and get things going at home against the Staples Center for their home opener.
The Clippers come into the game after winning over the Kings to open the season and they have eyes on a championship run this year in the west. The Mavericks won over the Suns on the road and they will continue on the road against the Clippers for this game and they open at home next week against the Suns. The Clippers made a number of moves this offseason with Lance Stephenson, Paul Pierce and Josh Smith coming in and the team also kept DeAndre Jordan, who nearly signed with the Mavericks and that adds some drama to the game.
The Clippers opened with the Kings and now they have their home opener and the team hosts the Kings and Suns next before heading out on the road. The team plays the warriors in a national game next week and they also have the Rockets and Grizzlies at home after that as they face some playoff teams from last year. The team then takes the road and plays the Mavericks in Dallas and that should be loud for Jordan when he plays there.

The Mavericks come in with three straight home games to start the season and they will play the Lakers at Staples Center after playing the Clippers. The team has three straight home games after that and the Mavs will play against the Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Hornets and New Orleans Pelicans on the schedule. the team has a home and home with New Orleans and then they will host the Clippers after that on the schedule before also hosting the Lakers as they visit Dallas.
The Mavericks have a tough schedule in November and after playing the Lakers the team will hit the road for three games. The Mavs have the Houston Rockets and they also play against the Sixers and the Boston Celtics before coming home against the Jazz. The team then goes on a long road trip and they will play against the OKC Thunder before games away against the Memphis Grizzlies and the San Antonio Spurs. The team comes home against the Nuggets and they will end the month against the Kings.
