World Series Live Stream: Kansas City Royals vs. NY Mets Watch Online Game 3 Streaming

The Kansas City Royals and NY Mets are playing Game 3 of the World Series from Citi Field on Friday and the game starts at 8:07 pm ET. The TV coverage is on FOX and the live stream is from Fox Sports Go as Noah Syndergaard matches up with Yordano Ventura in the pitching duel.

The Mets are down 2-0 in the series after losing Game 2 and that game saw Johnny Cueto pitch a complete game and he is the first AL pitcher to do that since Jack Morris. Alcides Escobar has been having a great postseason and he had a triple and two RBI in the game and now the Royals have the chance to go up 3-0 and that would mean they basically have the World Series in the bag.

Sure, a team could come back from a 3-0 deficit, but history says that it is nearly impossible to do it, as the Red Sox are the only team to do that in the playoffs. The Mets lost 7-1 in Game 2 and they need to get things going, as they had just two hits in the game and both were from Lucas Duda. Duda hit two weak singles and that was all the team could get off of Cueto.

Michael Conforto remains in the lineup for the Mets, as Terry Collins said that he thinks this is the best lineup that the team can put out against Ventura. Conforto only has one hit in the playoffs and he made that one count, as that was a home run off of Zack Greinke in the Dodgers series. Kendrys Morales is out with the DH gone and that gives the Royals a slightly less imposing lineup for this game.

Syndergaard gets the start for the Mets and he has a wicked hard fastball and Collins also said that no matter what happens, Steven Matz will pitch in Game 4 and the team will not bring back Matt Harvey for that game. Syndergaard has the ability to strike out batters and the Royals have been the best at not striking out and that will be a battle to watch. Syndergaard has put up solid numbers in the postseason with 20 strikeouts and six walks in 13 innings along with a 2.77 ERA in two starts.

Syndergaard went 9-7 with a 3.24 ERA during the regular season and he goes up against Ventura, who can be electric but also can be loose with his pitches. Syndergaard threw his fastball at an average of 97.1 mph during the regular season and he will be looking to get things going early against the Royals. Syndergaard can hit 100 on the gun and the Mets will be looking for him to stay sharp in this game.
