Indianapolis Colts
Andrew Luck (Quarterback): Luck continues to have a terrible season and with questions surrounding his healthy he will be very hard to trust going forward. Luck could possibly be dealing with multiple fractured ribs however it is not known for sure what is ailing the young quarterback. Luck only completed 23 out of 47 passes for 231 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. The last INT came in overtime and it was a big one that sealed the Colts fate. Luck also added 6 carries for 35 yards.
TY Hilton/Donte Moncrief (Wide Receivers): Both Hilton and Moncrief were blanketed by Panthers cornerback Josh Norman. Moncrief saw a lot of Charles Tillman who also had a very good game against the Indianapolis wide receivers. Hilton finished the game catching 1 out of 7 targets for 15 yards while Moncrief caught 2 out of 7 targets for 18 yards.
Frank Gore (Running Back): Gore was a bright spot for this Indianapolis offense. He ran the ball 22 times a season high, and gained 70 yards rushing; He also caught all 3 of his targets for 22 yards.
Carolina Panthers
Cam Newton (Quarterback): Newton was sharp and highly motivated on Monday. Newton completed 16 of his 35 pass attempts for 248 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception. Newton also racked up 41 yards rushing on 10 carries.
Jonathan Stewart (Running Back): Stewart had another solid week of running the football as he had 24 rushing attempts that went for 82 yards and a touchdown. He also caught 1 out of 2 targets for a yard. Stewart has struggled finding a balance with Cam Newton but has seemingly figured it out in these past 2 weeks. Stewart should continue to be a high RB2.
Greg Olsen (Tight End): Greg Olsen was the primary passing threat in the Panthers offense. He hauled in 6 out of 12 catches for 79 yards and a touchdown. Olsen will be a strong TE1 entering week 9.
