Fantasy Basketball Best Pickups: Aaron Gordon, Chandler Parsons, Jerian Grant, Gerald Green, Jabari Parker, CJ McCollum, Mo Williams, Willie Cauley-Stein, Langston Galloway

The fantasy basketball season is underway and some free agent pickups and waiver wire to check out heading into the week include Jerian Grant, Gerald Green, Chandler Parsons, Mo Williams, Aaron Gordon, Kristaps Porzingis, Willie Cauley-Stein, Langston Galloway, CJ McCollum and Jabari Parker.

Aaron Gordon is a player to watch this week, as he is coming in after playing a season-high 25 minutes against the Bulls over the weekend. Gordon is a good bench replacement player for fantasy owners, as he is averaging 10 points and nearly six rebounds per game this season. Gordon had seven rebounds two blocks and two steals against the Bulls and he could see increased minutes for the Magic if he continues playing well.

The Knicks have Arron Afflalo dealing with a hamstring injury and that has kept him sidelined to start the season, giving more minutes to Jerian Grant, Lance Thomas and Langston Galloway. All of those players are solid bench options for fantasy owners along with Kristaps Porzingis, who has been starting for the Knicks as a rookie. Afflalo could be out for a couple weeks with the injury, as the Knicks want to make sure he is healthy before bringing him back.

Afflalo being out gives those players a chance to step up and fantasy owners can take advantage. Galloway has played well to start the season and he comes in averaging 12 points and five rebounds with 3.3 assists per game this season. Galloway had 14 points and seven rebounds against the Wizards and he has upside moving forward for the season. Jerian Grant is another good pick to stash for later in the season, as he could end up getting playing time ahead of Jose Calderon eventually.

Grant is averaging seven points, four assists and three rebounds per game and the rookie looks like he has potential for the Knicks. Porzingis comes in averaging 11.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game and he has been starting for the Knicks as a rookie. CJ McCollum has played well this season and over his last four games he is averaging over 20 points and owners could ride with the hot hand.

Parker could be a high upside option after missing most of his rookie season with an injury, as he was looking like a budding star before going down for the Bucks. Parker was picked second overall in the draft and he could be a great offensive option as he returns to the court. Parsons is back after an injury and could be a stash option for owners for later in the season.

Parker is expected to be back Wednesday and he comes in after averaging 12 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in 25 games last season. Mo Williams is a solid backup point guard option and he comes in averaging 11 points and five assists per game this season. Williams will get minutes with Kyrie Irving out for the Cavs.
