This has become one of the biggest rivalries in the western conference and this year the teams have already started going back and forth in the media. The teams did not play last season in the playoffs, but their rivalry has had some postseason action, including in a seven game series the year before the Warriors won the title. The Warriors have won eight of nine games against the Clippers at home and now LA will try and give the team another loss at Oracle Arena.

Stephen Curry has been off to a very strong start as he defends his MVP award and tries to get the Warriors back to the finals after winning last season. The team dropped 119 points on Memphis, a team that is supposed to be strong defensively, and the team has now won 20 straight during the regular season at home. The Warriors are trying to match their record to start through five games last season when they were 5-0 and that led to 21 wins in 23 games.

The Warriors beat the Grizzlies by 50 and Curry didn't even play the fourth quarter and scored 30 points in the game. The Warriors won twice over the Pelicans and also beat the Rockets, who they eliminated form the playoffs last season. Both teams come into the game at 4-0 this season and one team will leave this matchup undefeated and the other will only have one loss, so really not that bad.
