Reading vs Norwich Live Stream: Watch Free Online English Premier League Game at 10 AM ET, 3 PM GMT

Reading will be desperate to pick up their first win in the English Premier League this season, when they welcome Norwich City, fresh from a 1-0 win over Stoke City last weekend.

Reading put in a much better defensive performance against QPR last Sunday, but still managed to only come away with one point after initially taking the lead in the 1-1 draw.

The newly-promoted club are third bottom on five points from ten matches, while Norwich are 14th with ten points.

Reading manager Brian McDermott has a simple task in mind when it comes to the game against Norwich on Saturday: "Once we get in front, we want to keep a clean sheet and win the game."

Norwich boss Chris Hughton will have other ideas, as Norwich look to continue their recent good form. "It's always a good feeling when you've got a few points, so it's a nice period for us at the moment, but it's about sustaining it and replicating those good things, and for us there are no easy games," Hughton told the club's official website. "We have to perform.

"Whoever the opposition are there is plenty of good reason why we have to be on top of our game.

"The reason this week is that we're up against a team that had a wonderful season last season and have a great work ethic.

"They generally don't change their style of play too much and it's a matter of time before they start getting points, and that's what we need to guard against."

Hughton admitted the massive home win against Arsenal a few weeks back was the catalyst to their good run. "The home performance against Arsenal is one that gave everybody that bit of confidence and when you're beating a team of the stature of Arsenal at home it's also a great one for the supporters," he added. "Equally as tough though was the win against Stoke, where we had to be able to win and compete in a different way.

"But it's just about getting those valuable points on the board. The frustrating thing early in the season was not getting those. At the moment we're on a decent run and it's given us that bit of confidence.

"Reading can score goals and if you look at the first half performance against Arsenal, you can see what a threat they are.

"They'll possibly look at us as one of a group of teams they need to get their points off at home, and we need to be mindful of that. We are in good form at the moment, and we want to capitalize on it.

"The only way you can do that is by trying to replicate the things that you have done so well in recent games that have got you the results."

Norwich will have Javier Garrido and Michael Turner available, while a call on Russell Martin will be taken a few hours before the game.

Reading will be without first-choice goalkeeper Alex McCarthy after injuring himself in the game against QPR. "Alex has seen a consultant, he has a shoulder joint problem and will be out for a little while," McDermott said.

Jem Karacan and Danny Guthrie are also ruled out, but Noel Hunt has been declared fit.
