Everton will be the favorites to pick up all three points when they take on a struggling Sunderland side in the English Premier League game at Goodison Park.

Everton have made a brilliant start to their campaign and are in fourth place on 17 points from ten matches, while Sunderland are at the other end of the table in sixteenth place, having picked up just nine points all season.

Sunderland have one clear problem in that they cannot score goals, with a mere six goals in the season so far. They failed to score yet again in their previous match against Aston Villa, going down 1-0.

Former Everton striker Louis Saha believes if Sunderland keep plugging away the results will come. "I don't think we are playing badly, things are going our way," he said. "We haven't had many opportunities against us -- it's a matter of creating and scoring goals and stop maybe thinking so much.

"You have to be calm and that comes with hard work, for sure."

Saha is expecting a tough encounter against his former club. "I think it is going to be a really good game to play in," Saha told the club's official website. "Everton are a team in form.

"It's nice to see them doing well but obviously we need the three points. We will have to start very brightly to get the result we want.

"If you're playing well against a team in form that gives you the confidence you are looking for.

"Everton is definitely a very tough place to go and it will be a hard game between two physical teams trying to get the result."

The French striker believes Everton's success is all down to their manager David Moyes. "David Moyes is a very ambitious manager who wants to win and wants to improve," he said. "He wants the right spirit for his club and I think that has showed over the last few seasons.

"They have started this campaign well and that is a real boost for them.

"Everton is a great club and really enjoyed my time there. It will be special to come back and try to win."

Everton's Darron Gibson and Tony Hibbert remain doubts for the game, while Victor Anichebe was stretchered off during last weekend's under-21 game.
