Philadelphia Eagles Rumors: Darren Sproles Slams DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews Rotation, Mark Sanchez Starter as Zach Ertz, Jordan Matthews Fantasy Picks

Darren Sproles has become the forgotten man. After a few strong performances to start the season, the running back has been quiet over the past few weeks as the Philadelphia Eagles try and find consistency between DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews. Sproles was supposed to be the x-factor to the team's offense, but has instead been watching more games from the sidelines and he is not thrilled about the idea.

Sproles has been battling the rotation of Murray and Mathews while playing on just 31 percent of the team's offensive snaps this season. According to the veteran running back he is not getting enough chances on the field. While Sproles has technically played more snaps than Mathews this season, he is not happy with the way he is being used.

"I'm not getting enough chances," Sproles said, via Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. "They got me more in there to run routes. DeMarco and Ryan get the bulk of the carries. ... To get in a rhythm you need more touches. That's for any kind of player."

Sproles could get his chances in Week 11. According to Philly.com, Mathews remains out with a concussion and does not appear likely to get cleared for play on Sunday. That means Sproles would be the primary backup to Murray. He needs to make the most of his chances on the field as the running back cannot make these comments and then follow them up with a poor performance. With Tony Romo back in Dallas, the Eagles cannot afford a drop off.

That success will be placed in the hands of Mark Sanchez. According to ESPN.com, Sanchez is getting the starting nod with Sam Bradford dealing with a separated shoulder. The backup quarterback has been working with the first-team offense all week and will get the nod meaning players like Murray and Sproles will be very important to his success.

"I've just got to be smart with the ball and understand the situation and what we need at the time," Sanchez said, via ESPN.com. "We'll do a good job of pushing the pace and then analyzing where we're at and what we need to accomplish."

With players like Jordan Matthews and Riley Cooper struggling over the past few games, Zach Ertz could be a star for the team in Week 11 as he has been one of the more favored targets all year despite not finding the endzone. Matthews along with Josh Huff cannot afford mistakes as Sanchez has proven he is very interception prone. As Bradford's status remains very hazy going forward, Sanchez might want to get comfortable as the starter.
