49ers Rumors: Carlos Hyde Out, Anquan Boldin Returns? Shaun Draughn, Kendall Gaskins Fantasy Start Options, Blaine Gabbert Starter Week 11

The San Francisco 49ers have Carlos Hyde likely out heading into Week 11 and that makes Shaun Draughn and Kendall Gaskins the best fantasy football start options for the team against the Seahawks. Anquan Boldin is coming into the weekend with an injury, but he is expected to start alongside Blaine Gabbert, who will be in again for Colin Kaepernick at quarterback.

Hyde has been dealing with numerous injuries this season and he was out of practice this week. According to Pro Football Talk, Hyde is dealing with a stress fracture in his left foot and he was unable to practice on Wednesday or Thursday. While Hyde has not been officially ruled out yet, PFT writes that it's "hard to imagine" that Hyde will play on Sunday. Shaun Draughn, Kendall Gaskins and Travaris Cadet are on the roster for the 49ers and they will get the RB work if Hyde is out again.

The 49ers were on a bye last week, but that did not give Hyde enough time to heal up from his injuries and now he could be out again. Anquan Boldin has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, but he was able to return to practice this week. According to Rotoworld, Boldin was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but he is "on track" to play against the Seahawks after missing the last two games. Boldin may not be 100 percent for the game, but he could be a solid WR3 option for owners on Sunday.

Hyde being out puts more pressure on Blaine Gabbert at quarterback and the 49ers may try and take some of that pressure off by using Draughn and Gaskins. Draughn was the lead back against the Falcons in Week 9 and he had 16 carries for the 49ers, rushing for 58 yards.

Draughn had 20 touches overall and that is a solid number for fantasy owners and he is expected to be the lead back again this weekend. Draughn is a better pick over Gaskins for now, but Gaskins could be solid in deeper leagues, as he could get some goal line carries for the 49ers.

Gabbert is making another start for the 49ers, but he hasn't totally won the job away from Colin Kaepernick yet. According to CSN Bay Area, head coach Jim Tomsula said that the team is going "week to week" with the decision on who will start at quarterback.

If Gabbert plays well he likely will keep the job, but it may depend on his performance and whether the 49ers are winning games. Kaepernick has struggled this season and that forced the original change, but if Gabbert doesn't get things done, Tomsula could go back to Kaepernick at some point. Gabbert had 185 passing yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in the win over the Falcons ahead of the bye week.
