The fantasy football schedule for Week 12 picks up Thursday and players like Eddie Lacy, James Starks, Aaron Rodgers, Richard Rodgers, Randall Cobb, Jay Cutler, Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, Darren McFadden, Terrance Williams, Eric Ebron, Davante Adams, Ted Ginn and Cam Newton are start or sit options for fantasy teams.
The first game of the day has the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Detroit Lions at 12:30 pm ET and the second game of the day has the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers playing. The late game matchup has the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears and that will be on NBC at 8:30 pm ET. The Cowboys and Panthers matchup should be a good one with Carolina coming in undefeated and Tony Romo ready to start his second straight game.
The Packers and Bears are the late kick off and that matchup has some strong fantasy options, including Eddie Lacy, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffery, James Jones, Randall Cobb and Davante Adams. Lacy is expected to be the lead back on Thursday after having his best game of the season on Sunday, but James Starks also could see some touches. Lacy was able to practice in full for the Packers on Tuesday and he is a START pick for the game. Rodgers has a good matchup against the Bears defense and receivers like Adams, James Jones and Randall Cobb could put up some numbers.
Tony Romo is set to start his second game since coming back from a collarbone injury and he is good to go after making it through the game against Miami without suffering any setbacks. Romo had two touchdowns in the game against the Dolphins and the Cowboys feel that they can go on a run after losing seven straight games while Romo was out. Darren McFadden continues to play well after taking over as the starter and he comes in after putting up 129 rushing yards against Miami.
Dez Bryant is happy to have Romo back and the wideout found the endzone last week and he should see a boost in fantasy value against the Lions. Bryant hasn't gone over 100 yards since back in Week 9 and he has a solid matchup with the Panthers secondary, as Josh Norman likely will cover him quite a bit. Jason Witten is a solid START option despite having a down game last week, as he always is a good target for Romo. Terrance Williams could be a sleeper pick as a WR3 for the Cowboys.
The Panthers are matching up with the Cowboys and Cam Newton comes in after putting up a great game against the Redskins, throwing for five touchdowns last week. Ted Ginn had eight targets last week and scored a touchdown and he could be a solid start pick for Thursday. Davin Funchess could see some increased work, while Jonathan Stewart is also worth starting.
