The NFL playoff standings heading into Week 13 has the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers as the top seeds in the AFC and NFC ahead of the Bengals and Cardinals. The current playoff picture and wild card races have the Broncos, Colts, Chiefs, Texans, Vikings, Redskins, Packers and Seahawks in the postseason.
The New England Patriots are the top seed in the AFC over the Bengals, Broncos and Colts as the division leaders in the conference. The Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans have the wild card spots for now, while the New York Jets, Steelers, Buffalo Bills and Oakland Raiders remain in contention. The Panthers are the top seed in the NFC over the Cardinals, Vikings and Redskins, while the Packers and the Seahawks lead the wild card race.
The NFC has the Falcons, Buccaneers, Giants and Bears in contention for the wild card heading into Week 13. The division standings has the Patriots leading the AFC East and they basically have that locked up, leading the Jets, Bills and Dolphins with a 10-1 record. The Bengals are leading the AFC North division over the Steelers and Ravens, while the Browns are at the bottom and are in line for a top five draft pick.
The AFC South remains up for grabs and the Colts are leading the Texans for now, but both teams have 6-5 records. The Colts won over Houston earlier in the season and the teams will play again. The Jaguars and Titans are next and Tennessee is also in line for a top five pick. The AFC West has the Denver Broncos leading, while the Chiefs have been hot and have now won five games in a row to push ahead of the Raiders, while the Chargers are in last place.
The NFC East has the Washington Redskins leading the New York Giants and both teams have 5-6 records, but Washington is getter within the division. The Eagles are next at 4-7, while the Cowboys are 3-8 on the season. The Vikings are leading the NFC North this season over the Packers into Week 13 with an 8-3 record, while the Bears and Lions are next in the standings.
The NFC South has the Panthers basically locked in as the division winners at 11-0, while the Falcons, Buccaneers and Saints are next in the standings. The NFC West has the Arizona Cardinals leading, while the Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers are next.
The current draft order following Week 12 of the season has the Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns batting for the top overall pick, while the San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys and 49ers are in line for a top five pick as things stand now. The top 10 has the Dolphins,, Ravens, Eagles, Saints and Jaguars and those teams are all 4-7, so things still will have to shake out by the end of the season.
