The Hawaii Warriors enters Friday night's matchup against Air Force desperate for a win.

The team is one of the worst in the nation, ranking the bottom half of nearly every offensive category, including points scored, rushing yards and passing yards. The team has also struggled on defense, allowing 43 points per game, the 123rd worst in the nation.

The Warriors have lost seven straight games, including a 49-14 defeat against Boise State last Saturday. The team hasn't scored more than 27 points in any game this season and has allowed 40 or more points in all but one game.

The team has yet to win in the Mountain West, going 0-6 in the conference. The lone win this season for Hawaii came on Sept. 16 against Lamar in which the team dominated on both sides of the ball.

The team cruised behind three passing touchdowns from Sean Schroeder and a two-touchdown game form running back John Lister. The funior quarterback has been one of the lone bright spots for the Warriors, passing for 1,546 yards and nine touchdowns.

The Warriors opened the season with a blowout 49-10 loss to then-No. 1 USC and have won only one of the past eight games.

The Air Force Falcons have been known historically as a team that rushes the ball and this season has been no different.

The team is ranked second in the nation with 335 rushing yards per game and has been averaging 30 points per game this season. The team won three in a row in October, but has lost the past two games against San Diego State and Army.

The offense relies heavily on two seniors, running back and quarterback Connor Dietz.

Getz leads the team with 1,006 yards and eight touchdowns, while Dietz had added 1,095 through the air and 606 on the ground.

The Falcons opened the season with a 49-21 win against Idaho State, but lost the following two games against then-No. 19 Michigan and UNLV. Air Force is 4-2 in the Mountain West Conference and have three teams to overtake for a chance at the title game.

Boise State, Fresno State and San Diego State all have one loss, but Air Force has a game on Nov. 24 with Fresno that could help decide the title matchup.
