NFL Week 13 Fantasy Recap: Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Doug Martin, Mike Evans, Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman

Atlanta Falcons

Julio Jones (Wide Receiver): Julio Jones had a pretty modest day as we get closer to the fantasy football playoffs. Jones only hauled in 8 of his 17 targets for 93 yards. Jones was upset after the game as he believes he does not get enough red zone targets to which most fantasy owners agree. Jones should have a better matchup in week 14.

Devonta Freeman (Running Back): Freeman has also been struggling since Matt Ryan has started to show cracks in his ability to control this offense. Freeman only had 14 rushing attempts for 47 yards. He caught 10 of his 11 targets for 56 yards keeping his fantasy floor relatively friendly. Freeman will continue to be somewhat sporadic thanks to the inconsistencies of this offense.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Doug Martin (Running Back):  Martin had a pretty decent day against the Falcons porous run defense. He finished the game with 25 rushing attempts that gained 95 yards and a touchdown. He also caught 1 out of 2 targets for 5 yards. Martin is the clear lead back in this offense.

Mike Evans (Wide Receiver): Mike Evans was having a pretty quiet fantasy day until the game was on the line. Evans exploded for the game winning touchdown as the Buccaneers stunned the Falcons. Evans finished his day hauling in 5 out of 7 targets for 61 yards and the game winning touchdown.
