The Chicago Blackhawks have been getting some strong play from Patrick Kane this season and the forward continued his point streak with an assist on Sunday. The team has recalled Bryan Bickell from the AHL and the Blackhawks are now second in the central division after a win against the Vancouver Canucks.
Kane had an assist in the 4-0 victory against the Canucks and that put his points streak at 26 straight games. Kane now has 19 goals and 26 assists this season and over his past four games he has three goals scored for Chicago. The Blackhawks have gone 6-2-2 over their last 10 games and while they have not gained any ground on the Stars, the team has as many points as St. Louis after getting off to a slow start.
The Blackhawks recalled Bryan Bickell from the AHL after the Coyotes claimed Viktor Tikhonov off waivers last week, according to NHL.com. Bickell had seven goals and 14 points during his time with Rockford in the AHL and he helped save the Blackhawks nearly $100,000 in space by playing in the minors. Bickell now has the chance to get back in the rotation for the Blackhawks and he made his return against the Winnipeg Jets last weekend.
