NFL Playoffs Standings and Schedule Week 15: AFC and NFC Wild Card Race, Division Leaders, Clinching Scenarios, Patriots Clinch East

The NFL playoffs standings heading into the Week 15 schedule has the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers as the top seeds in the AFC and NFC. The Wild card races have the Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets in, while the Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts and Green Bay Packers are among the division leaders.

The AFC playoff picture currently has the New England Patriots as the top seed ahead of the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos, while the Colts are the fourth seed as the AFC South leaders. The Chiefs and Jets are both 8-5 in the wild card spots, while the Pittsburgh Steelers are the next team out at 8-5 in the seventh seed. The Patriots now have control of getting the number one seed with the Bengals and Broncos losing, while the Colts can basically lock up the division if they can win against the Texans this week.

The NFC playoffs picture has the Carolina Panthers as the number one seed and they have already clinched the South division title and a first round bye. The Arizona Cardinals are number two in the conference with an 11-2 record and they have clinched a playoff spot, while the Green Bay Packers are third in the standings with a 9-4 record. The Redskins are leading the East with a 6-7 record, while the Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings are in wild card position at 8-5.

The division standings are taking shape heading into Week 15 and the Patriots have the AFC East locked up and clinched with the Giants winning over the Dolphins. The team is 11-2 this season ahead of the Jets, while the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are next in the standings behind the Pats. The Bengals are leading the AFC North with a 10-3 record, but with Andy Dalton injured and the Steelers coming on, things are not set yet. The Ravens and the Browns are the bottom two teams in the division.

The AFC South is still a mess of a race with the Colts and Texans at 6-7, while the Jaguars are 5-8 ahead of the Titans, who are 3-10. The AFC West has the Denver Broncos leading at 10-3 this season, while the Chiefs have an 8-5 record ahead of the Raiders and the Chargers. The NFC East remains muddled with the Redskins leading over the Eagles, Giants and Cowboys, while the South has the Panthers locked in already over the Bucs, Falcons and Saints.

The NFC North has the Packers leading at 9-4 ahead of the Vikings and they are in control with the Bears and Lions in the bottom of the division. The Cardinals are leading the Seahawks in the NFC West, while the Rams and 49ers are in the bottom of the division standings.
