Real Sociedad vs Rayo Vallecano Live Stream: Watch Free Online La Liga Game at 3.30 PM ET, 8.30 PM GMT

Two teams that pulled off encouraging victories last week lock horns as Rayo Vallecano visit Real Sociedad in Monday's La Liga game.

Sociedad were impressive 2-1 winners over stumbling Malaga, while Rayo beat Celta Vigo 3-2 in an enthralling game.

That crucial win over Malaga took Sociedad out of relegation trouble and into 14th place, with coach Philippe Montanier stressing on the importance of keeping the momentum going. Sociedad are on 13 points from 11 matches, three points ahead of third bottom Deportivo La Coruna.

"It was a very important win but it's not enough," Montanier said. "We need to get consecutive good results. We still haven't achieved anything. We need to maintain this same line, attitude and effort."

Sociedad started their La Liga campaign at home brilliantly, winning their opening three matches; however, the last two games have seen the side go down to Atletico Madrid and Espanyol, and Montanier is desperate to see his side regain that winning mentality in their own stadium.

"They are a difficult opponent, but we want to break this poor run of results at home," he said. "I expect a lot from this game.

"In the last two matches at the Anoeta we haven't scored but we've had chances and that's very important. I'm looking for a good attitude from the players."

Rayo are in a strong position in tenth place on 16 points, and could potentially move up to fifth with a victory. Vallecano manager Paco Jemez, however, is expecting a stiff test against Sociedad.

"When you look at Real, you really notice the speed they have in midfield and up front," he said. "If you combine that with the quality they have, they have a very potent weapon to cause you damage and we have be very careful."
