NFL Week 15 Fantasy Recap: Miami Dolphins at San Diego Chargers, Lamar Miller, Jarvis Landry, Jay Ajayi, Melvin Gordon, Antonio Gates

Miami Dolphins

Lamar Miller (Running Back): Lamar Miller actually saw his workload decrease thanks to a combination of factors. The big one primarily being the fact that he was dealing with a quad injury that seemed to take away a lot of his explosiveness but he also lost carries to rookie Jay Ajayi who looked very good as the primary running back. Miller finished the game with 9 rushing attempts that gained 12 yards. Miller only saw 18 snaps while Ajayi saw 31.

Jarvis Landry (Wide Receiver): Landry had an oddly quiet night but at least he was targeted a healthy amount of times. Landry caught 8 out of 10 targets for 54 yards but faced a Chargers defense that had some extra motivation as this was likely their last home game. Landry should be an effective WR2 for championship week.

San Diego Chargers

Melvin Gordon (Running Back): Gordon put up a pretty typical performance as he carried the ball 15 times and gained 41 yards. Gordon also caught his only target for 6 yards; he left the game with a knee injury and was questionable to return. Gordon's knee is just sore, and there is no swelling however the Chargers could see this as an opportunity to rest Gordon for the remainder of the season.

Antonio Gates (Tight End): Gates absolutely dominated the Dolphins but failed to get into the end zone for the third week straight. Gates caught 6 of his 9 targets for 88 yards.
