The Indiana Pacers face the New Orleans Hornets in their NBA matchup with tipoff at 7 p.m. ET.
The Hornets are in trouble.
The Pacers have a strong defensive unit and the Hornets find themselves without their young expected to be superstar Anthony Davis.
He has missed a couple of games with concussion symptoms and a bad ankle.
The Hornets will look to bounce back from a loss against the New York Knicks as those guys went into N.O. and defeated them 102-80.
The Pacers have allowed, on average, just about 90 points per game as they are right behind the Knicks for the toughest defense in the NBA. The reason why they have lost is because they can't score more than the 90 points they hold their offense too.
Indiana should have no trouble stopping the Hornets' offense as they only score about 91 per game. They shouldn't have trouble out scoring them, if they play defense as the Hornets usually give up around 96 points.
The Pacers are 5-7 and in third place in the Central division in the East while the Hornets are 3-6 and at the bottom of the Southwest division.
It will be great for either to to pick up a victory as they are both attempting to get to .500 and beyond.
