The NBA action in Atlanta is just about to tipoff as the Hawks host the Washington Wizards at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Without a doubt, the Hawks believe they could beat the Wizards. Though they tell you to never take any team lightly, the Wizards are winless once again in the season. 

The Wizards are struggling in every sense of the word. They average less than 87 points per game, shoot less than 40 percent from the floor, have no game from three shooting the fifth worse in the league from beyond the arc. 

They were beaten by the Indiana Pacers last night 96-89. 

The Atlanta Hawks are coming off a win against the Orlando Magic. They are tied for second in the Southeast division with the surprise Charlotte Bobcats, but that would probably be enough to get them a top eight spot in the Eastern Conference. 

The Atlantic division is very intense and the Hawks will have to find a way of keeping up with the Miami Heat, who are first in that division, if they want to make the playoffs.

Al Horford and Josh Smith do it all in Atlanta and they have to continue stepping up big if they are to see another playoff berth this season.
