The Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Denver Nuggets at 8 p.m. as these two western conference squads square off Wednesday night.
The Timberwolves enter this game riding on the backs of Andrei Kirilenko, who has been their main man all season long. He's almost averaging a double-double scoring around 14 points and grabbing eight rebounds a game.
Their main scorer, however, has been Nikola Pekovic with 15.3 points per game.
The T'Wolves are 5-4 in their first nine game good for second in the Northwest division. They are holding their ground without their main stars Ricky Rubio and Keivn Love.
They faceoff against a the last place in the Northwest division Nuggets. It seems like they are still getting accustomed to life with Andre Iguodala in their team following the blockbuster trade that landed the guard in Denver.
Iguodala is averaging 13.5 points in 36 minutes in every one of the 11 games the Nuggets have played.
Danilo Gallinari has the most points out of any Nuggets player averaging 15.2 points and Kenneth Faried has roared to an amazing start as he drops 14 points per game.
They are only bound to get better as they are off to a 5-6 start this season.
