The NFL free agent class for 2016 has some notable names, as players like Matt Forte, Sam Bradford, Kirk Cousins, Lamar Miller, Alshon Jeffery, Doug Martin, Von Miller, Brock Osweiler and Mario Williams are expected to be available. Williams may get cut from the Bills, while Cousins and Bradford could hit the market for the Eagles and Redskins.
Sam Bradford is set to be a free agent after playing with the Eagles this season and with Chip Kelly gone, there is a chance Bradford could leave Philadelphia as well. Brock Osweiler is finishing up his rookie contract and while the Broncos will want to retain the QB, there is a chance another team could come in and promise him playing time and snatch him away (especially if Peyton Manning wants to return, but that is no certainty yet).
Matt Forte, Lamar Miller and Doug Martin are set to be free agents at running back and could be targets for teams. According to Pro Football Talk, Martin and the Buccaneers have started talking an extension, so there is a chance that Martin will not make it to free agency. If that happens, Miller and Forte likely will be the top RB options on the market and while the Dolphins will try to retain him, teams like the Cowboys, Browns, Giants and Texans could be interested in signing him.
Forte and Alshon Jeffery are both free agents for the Bears and while Jeffery is likely to return, Forte may not. Forte tried to work on a new contract with the Bears last year before the season, but the team was not interested in an extension. According to Brad Bigs at the Chicago Tribune, it would be a "surprise" if Jeffery doesn't return to the Bears next season. Jeffery dealt with injuries through this year, but his previous two seasons were very productive for Chicago.

The Washington Redskins are interested in retaining Cousins and the team reportedly will try and sign him to a contract extension this offseason, according to ESPN.com. Cousins may be interested in staying and could end up signing an extension, but after the way he played this season, there is a good chance that Cousins will at least hit the market to see what type of deal he can get. By doing that he could drive his price up for the Redskins, as Cousins likely will not have higher value than he will this offseason after leading the Redskins to the playoffs. Either way, it's very likely that Cousins will remain with the Redskins, it just depends on how exactly it will happen.
Von Miller will be a target for teams if he hits the market, but he has played so well for the Broncos it's unlikely that Denver will let him walk. Mario Williams is not a free agent yet, but ESPN reports that the Bills are likely to cut Williams in the offseason. Williams said after the game in Week 17 that he "has not been informed of his status for next season" and wants to return to Buffalo. Williams would be a $19 million cap hit for next season.
