NBA Injury Update: Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, Stephen Curry, Blake Griffin, Harrison Barnes, Hassan Whiteside, Avery Bradley

The NBA injury report has updates for Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, Stephen Curry, Blake Griffin, Harrison Barnes, Hassan Whiteside and Avery Bradley heading into the week.

Lillard and Curry have both been able to return to the court after being out with injuries, while players like Griffin and Barnes are not yet ready to come back. Kobe Bryant is dealing with a shoulder injury and could be back for the Lakers on Tuesday, while Derrick Rose could return for the Bulls against the Bucks after dealing with a hamstring injury. Deron Williams is also dealing with a hamstring injury and is questionable for the Mavericks against the Kings on Tuesday. Williams was able to practice on Monday and should be back on the court soon.

Lillard had previously been out while dealing with plantar fasciitis in his foot, but he was able to make his return on Monday against the Grizzlies. Lillard had 17 points and was a bit rusty while shooting just four of 14 from the floor, but he was able to play 36 minutes and did not suffer any setbacks for the Blazers. Rose is dealing with a hamstring injury and is a game time decision for the Bulls against the Bucks on Tuesday. The Bulls likely will be cautious with Rose coming back from the injury.

Kobe Bryant is dealing with a shoulder issue and did not practice on Monday with the team and is listed as questionable for the game against the Warriors on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. Bryant was out on Sunday and the report says that Bryant could deal with the shoulder issue for the duration of the season.

Blake Griffin remains out with a quad injury, but head coach Doc Rivers said that once Griffin is cleared to practice, he could "return quickly" to the lineup. Griffin is rehabbing at the Clippers team facility and has started doing pool work, but he has not been cleared for basketball activities yet. Stephen Curry made his return to the lineup on Monday, while Harrison Barnes also returned for the Golden State Warriors. Curry had been dealing with a shin issue and was able to play 32 minutes, while Barnes played 20 minutes after being out since November.

Hassan Whiteside was out for the Miami Heat on Monday and he is dealing with a knee issue and could be out for another game or two. Whiteside said to the media that he is not too concerned about the knee and that the injury is minor. Chris Andersen started in place of Whiteside for Miami on Monday. Kevin Durant is dealing with a sprained toe and was out on Monday, but he is listed as day to day and the injury is not considered to be serious.

Marcus Smart made his return for the Celtics last week, while Avery Bradley is out with a hip injury. Bradley does not have a timetable to return and did not play for the Celtics on Monday against the Nets.
