The Baltimore Ravens had an injury plagued 2015 and will likely need some healthier playmakers on both sides of the ball in 2016. Baltimore will see Terrell Suggs who is 34 return from a season ending Achilles injury while their other pass rusher Elvis Dumervil is 32.
Steve Smith and rookie 1st round pick Breshad Perriman who did not play a single snap will be back along with franchise quarterback Joe Flacco after he returns from an ACL tear. Starting running back Justin Forsett will also make his return after breaking his arm late into the season. This all means that the Ravens could essentially draft any position and strengthen their team.
The main goal for the Ravens in this draft and free agency should be to find a solid offensive tackle/tackles to help keep this offense protected. Offensive tackles in the draft the Ravens could target are likely Ronnie Stanley and Jack Conklin both of whom would go a long way in making this offensive line safer for Joe Flacco.
The Ravens could also try to outbid other teams in free agency for players such as Cordy Glenn or Russell Okung. Secondly they will need better cornerbacks/ safeties to help contest deep balls, let's not forget they do play against Antonio Brown twice.
At cornerback the Ravens could take whoever is left out of the trio of Vernon Hargreaves III, Jalen Ramsey, and Mackensie Alexander. The Ravens could also make a move in free agency to land Josh Norman, Prince Amukamara, Eric Berry, or Sean Smith however they will need the capital to do so. Lastly they could use a defensive end/pass rusher to help get some pressure on the quarterback.
This means most likely getting their pick between Joey Bosa, DeForest Buckner, Emmanuel Ogbah, and Shaq Lawson. Anyone of these players would go a long way to rebuilding the once feared Ravens pass rush. The Ravens may also attempt to fix this in free agency as they could target Malik Jackson. Whatever the Ravens decide to do they will be hard pressed to get this defense fixed fast.
