The Dallas Cowboys host the Washington Redskins in their Thanksgiving Day meeting taking place at 4:25 p.m. ET. As energetic and fast as the Redskins are, the key lies in Tony Romo's arm today as he will give the Cowboys the edge in this one.

Straight up and by the numbers, this match belongs to the Cowboys. 

Romo is one of the top passing quarterbacks in the league as the Cowboys' offense is ranked 7th in the league with 284 pass yards per game. 

That is the forte of their offense. Jason Witten, Dez Bryant and Miles Austin all have over 700 yards receiving each. 

Against a good defensive team you can expect Romo to at least scratch out 250 yards passing. With these mediocre Redskins corners, the Cowboys should not only have a feast off the field after the game, but on the field as Romo should be airing it out constantly.

The Redskins are ranked 29th in the NFL allowing 289 passing yards per game. 

The only danger arises in the Cowboys lacking a running game, so if the Redskins can keep Romo off balance, then maybe they could manage a victory, but the odds favor the Cowboys. 

Robert Griffin III is a force on offense as he not only passes, but can scramble and run as well.

RGIII and the tricky Redskins offense have confused a lot of teams. They can run multiple options confusing a defense as they have the ability to hand the ball off to different players.

The Redskins can put up points and they can run the ball. They average almost 26 points and 165 rushing yards per game. 

Prediction: The Cowboys will win this one, but by a small margin. The Washington Redskins have a respectable running game though their defense is weak. Romo goes for a crazy game passing for 350 yards and three touchdowns as the Cowboys will win 31-26.
