The NFL offseason could see some notable players changing uniforms, as names like Johnny Manziel, Robert Griffin III and Colin Kaepernick could be done with their current teams after this season.
There will be at least 10 teams looking for new quarterbacks for the 2016 season and while the draft and free agency may offer some options, teams also may look at trade deals on the market. According to ESPN.com, the hiring of Hue Jackson in Cleveland likely means that Johnny Manziel is done there and could be traded or released. Robert Griffin is expected to be released by the Redskins if the team can't find a decent trade, while Colin Kaepernick also has his future uncertain in San Francisco.
Kaepernick is making a nice amount of money for next season and his salary will be guaranteed in April and the team could make a move by then. The 49ers are looking for a new head coach and if the one they hire doesn't see Kaepernick as the future for the franchise, he could be traded or released. Teams like the Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys, Eagles and Browns could be potential options to make a move for a QB.
