The New York Giants defeated the Green Bay Packers 38-10 in Week 12's Sunday Night Football matchup after a huge game from the defensive and Eli Manning back to normal.

Manning finished the night with 249 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. The Giants' defense was a nightmare for Aaron Rodgers as he hit the ground far too many times and was sacked five times.

The Giants defense also recovered a fumble on one of the sacks as Osi Umenyiora forced the fumble and Justin Pierre-Paul then picked it up for a 10-yard gain right before the second half concluded.

With a touchdown in the third quarter, Manning surpassed Phil Simms for the most touchdowns by a Giants quarterback with 200 in his career.

Manning hit Reuben Randle for his first touchdown then followed with a TD to Victor Cruz and then finally broke the record with a pass to Hakeem Nicks.

The play was not ruled a touchdown, but after the Giants and Tom Coughlin challenged, referees noticed Nicks had stretched the ball past the goal line for the touchdown before being down by contact.

With this victory, the Giants improve to 7-4 and possess a two-game lead over the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins.

For the Packers, they fall a game behind the Chicago Bears who won earlier today.
