The Green Bay Packers are coming off of a tough loss as they look towards the offseason. The Packers have seen themselves get eliminated from the playoffs without their offense getting a chance to even get onto the field.

This has happened 2 years in a row and I am certain Mike McCarthy is sick of it. The Packers will have several key free agents that could either help or hurt their playoff chances based off of who they resign. The Packers will see James Starks, James Jones, Nick Perry, Mason Crosby, B.J. Raji, and Casey Hayward leave for free agency if they do not resign them and some of those losses sting way more than others.

The Packers have done an alright job against the run and this is likely due to Nick Perry and B.J. Raji, also these are two players who generate a pass rush. Of course they are not the only two but the defense as a whole will be effected if they leave in free agency. James Starks and James Jones played a big role into getting the Packers to the playoffs. Jones has made it clear he would like to finish his career with the Pack however they have turned him away once before and Starks wants to be an every down back so he will likely look for a bigger opportunity.

Jones is easily the most productive receiver on the Packers roster this season and that will need to be discussed this offseason. Finally we have Casey Hayward who is just another cog in one of the better defensive backfields of 2015 and Mason Crosby who has been the Packers kicker for quite some time. The Packers should only be a few good players from a deep playoff run, so losing any playmakers would be a tremendous step backwards.
