NFL Injury Report: Jared Allen Out For Panthers, Jonathan Stewart, Greg Olsen, Rob Gronkowski, Chris Harris, Chandler Jones, Peyton Manning Updates

The NFL playoffs injury report has updates for Jared Allen, Jonathan Stewart, Greg Olsen, Rob Gronkowski, Chris Harris, Chandler Jones, Peyton Manning and Fozzy Whittaker heading into the weekend.

The Carolina Panthers will be without Jared Allen on Sunday, as the defensive end has been ruled out with a foot injury. Jonathan Stewart and Fozzy Whittaker are expected to play for the team along with Ted Ginn. The two running backs are listed as probable for the game, while Allen has been ruled out, according to Pro Football Talk. Greg Olsen dealt with a "burner" last week and is expected to be a full go.

Rob Gronkowski was limited for some practice this week after coming into the Chiefs game with back and knee injuries, but he is expected to play Sunday without any limitations. Gronkowski was on the field for nearly all of the Patriots offensive snaps against the Chiefs and did not suffer any setbacks in the wild card game. Jerod Mayo is out for the rest of the playoffs after the Patriots placed the linebacker on injured reserve.

The Patriots likely will have Chandler Jones and Jamie Collins ready for Sunday, as both players were able to participate in practice this week. Jones and Chandler both had to leave the game against the Chiefs with injuries, but neither player suffered anything serious. ESPN reports that Jones did not suffer a new injury against the Chiefs and should be ready to play on Sunday for the Patriots.

The Panthers will be without Allen on Sunday after the defensive end broke a bone in his foot. According to ESPN.com, Allen said that he likely could have played, but head coach Ron Rivera ruled him out. Rivera said that Allen and Stewart looked "pretty good" in practice on Thursday, but clearly the team felt that Allen should not play on Sunday with his injury. Kony Ealy will get the start for the Panthers in place of Allen against the Cardinals.

The Broncos will have Chris Harris as a game time decision for the matchup with the Patriots on Sunday, as the cornerback is dealing with a lingering shoulder injury. According to Pro Football Talk, John Elway said that Harris would be a game time decision after aggravating the shoulder injury last week. Harris said that he has basically been playing with one arm due to the injury. Peyton Manning started again after dealing with a foot injury during the season and did not suffer any setbacks.
