It is being reported that Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt has been fired after the Cavs got rocked by the Golden State Warriors.
The Cavs are currently leading the Eastern Conference with a record of 30-11. Not only that Blatt has a record of 83-40 which makes most people wonder what prompted such swift change. The Warriors blew out the Cavs at home 132-98 and to be fair that can honestly happen to any team.
The Warriors are 38-4 and have easily the most explosive team in the NBA. The Cavs are good and likely to get better but I guess ownership did not like seeing fans fall asleep at the Cavaliers home court.
Josh Smith has been traded from the Los Angeles Clippers back once again to the Houston Rockets. The Rockets sent the draft rights to Maarty Leunen while the Clippers sent Smith and the draft rights to Serhiy Lishchuk plus a little bit of cash to cover Smith's salary.
Smith since joining the Clippers saw career lows in just about every category so returning to his most productive team in the NBA is likely a good sign for both him and the Rockets.
